WCB Project Portal

WCB is now accepting pre-applications through the new WCB Project Portal. WCB will no longer accept application materials submitted separately by email. If you were invited to prepare a full application prior to the Project Portal launch on March 6, 2026, please continue working with your assigned WCB staff to submit by email.

The Project Portal has been designed to streamline the grant process from pre-application, to grant award, and final close-out. It can be accessed via the link on the right, along with written guidance materials, a recorded training, FAQs and a help desk email address.

We appreciate your patience as we launch the Project Portal and welcome any feedback to help improve its functionality over time. Please reach out to the Project Portal help desk (WCBProjectPortal@wildlife.ca.gov) with any questions.
