The Wildlife Conservation Board's Lower American River Conservancy Program link opens in new window2020 Proposal Solicitation Notice (PDF) (PSN) is now available. PSN priorities include improving the quality of water that flows within and into the American River Parkway (Parkway) and the enhancement of interpretive and educational facilities related to the Parkway and its natural, cultural, and historic resources. Proposed projects may be for land acquisitions, planning, or implementation.

All applicants must complete the full application by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on July 31, 2020. See the 2020 PSN for more details and the application forms. For questions regarding this PSN or the Program, please contact WCB's Lower American River Conservancy Program at LARCP@wildlife.ca.gov.

Please join the Wildlife Conservation Board for the first Advisory Committee meeting of the year for the Lower American River Conservancy Program being held Wednesday, May 13, 2020 via Skype or teleconference. All are welcome to join. The meeting will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Due to the circumstances regarding the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Wildlife Conservation Board is postponing the release of the 2020 Proposal Solicitation Notice for the Lower American River Conservancy Program until further notice. Please join the Wildlife Conservation Board for the first Advisory Committee meeting of the year for the Lower American River Conservancy Program being held Monday, March 23, 2020, at 1416 9th Street in Sacramento. All are welcome to join. The meeting will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and in the Natural Resources Building, First Floor Auditorium.

Per Executive Order N-25-20, Paragraph 11, issued by Governor Gavin Newsom on March 12, 2020 and related to the State of Emergency declared as a result of the COVID-19 virus, board members and members of the public are temporarily allowed to attend the meeting via teleconference, and such teleconference locations need not be formally noticed and publicly-accessible as is normally required. Teleconference dial-in information will be provided in advance of the March 23 meeting.
